  • Long time...

...since I've blogged here. We're finally moved into our cozy 2bedroom apartment on 24th and patterson, and all of our boxes came yesterday, a month after we did. In any case, it's good to be settling down, but the boxes seem a bit overwhelming. It was REALLY nice to sleep on our bed (super duper kingsized serta) we sent over from Korea. Much better than the sleeping bags and foam mats we've been sleeping on for a week now.

Things to buy: Namju wants another dresser, as well as a full sized mirror. I'd like another shelf, but money is short after the move, so we'll be waiting on these things a bit.

Saturday was a joyful day with Oregon beating Michigan. I'm going to the game with my dad this Saturday so we'll see if they can keep the streak going against Fresno St. I have not forgotten that Oregon started out something like 6-0 or 7-0 last season before losing almost every other game.

Busy day, and lots to unpack.

  • Amazing Graze

    From ESPN found here:

Hundreds gathered at the field at Candlestick Park to celebrate Walsh, who died of leukemia on July 30 at 75. Friday's service included a gospel choir singing "Amazing Graze" and a video recounting Walsh's achievements.

Oh my... those wonderous sports writers. Oh wonder what they grazed on.

  • The worst writing award

Was handed out to a WI man! LOL!

"Gerald began — but was interrupted by a piercing whistle which cost him ten percent of his hearing permanently, as it did everyone else in a ten-mile radius of the eruption, not that it mattered much because for them 'permanently' meant the next ten minutes or so until buried by searing lava or suffocated by choking ash — to pee," Gleeson wrote.
